Importing Vehicles from China: FAQ

Most of our buyers are vehicle importers, parallel importers and multi-brand dealers. Individuals are welcome to send an inquiry — we will tell you honestly whether a single-vehicle import is practical, and you will need to check your country’s import rules for private buyers.

We have completed deals with buyers in Armenia, Panama, Venezuela and Bolivia, and we are actively developing Thailand and other Southeast Asian markets. For other destinations, tell us the country and port and we will check whether we can offer a workable route. Import rules differ by country, so we ask about your local requirements first.

The vehicles we list are new Chinese-market vehicles. Depending on the model and the export channel, some vehicles must be registered in China before export and then deregistered. If this applies to your order, the quote says so and states the mileage and document status of the vehicle.

Vehicles built for the Chinese market are left-hand drive (LHD). If your market requires right-hand drive (RHD), tell us at the start: we check whether an RHD version is available through export channels, but many models are LHD only.

Yes, you can ask. Our inventory shows a selection of models. Send the brand, model, year or trim, colour and quantity through the inquiry form; we check availability in China and reply with a quote — or tell you clearly if we cannot source it.

Specifications come from our database and manufacturer information for the Chinese-market version. Photos are for reference only and some come from third-party sources. The exact specification, colour and equipment of your vehicles are confirmed in the quote and contract.

Chinese-market EVs and plug-in hybrids use the Chinese GB/T charging standard for AC and DC charging. If your market uses a different standard (for example CCS2 or Type 2), check adapters, charging infrastructure and local rules before ordering. We can share the charging-port details for each model.

The vehicles are built to Chinese specifications. The importer is responsible for checking and meeting local import, homologation, emissions, safety and registration requirements, including any vehicle-age or steering-side rules. We provide the vehicle information and documents we can obtain to support your application.

Manufacturer warranties for Chinese-market vehicles generally cover use in China and may not apply in your country. Any warranty or after-sales support we can offer is agreed per order and written into the contract. Plan local servicing, parts and diagnostics with your partners in advance — especially for EVs.

Website prices are reference prices in US dollars from our current database. They are not a fixed offer: the final price depends on real-time availability, specification, quantity and destination. We normally quote FOB (Chinese port of loading) or CIF (your destination port); the Incoterm and total price are confirmed in your written quotation.

We do not publish a fixed minimum order. Tell us the quantity you have in mind; order size is discussed case by case, and whether a single unit or a mixed load is practical depends on the model and the shipping route. This is confirmed in your quote.

You can ask for a trial order of one or a few units before a larger order. Shipping a small quantity usually costs more per vehicle, so we confirm feasibility and the full cost in the quote.

Payment terms are agreed per order and written into the proforma invoice or sales contract before you pay anything. We do not take payments through this website. Before sending money, always confirm the bank details directly with us by phone or WhatsApp.

Depending on destination and quantity, we ship by RoRo (roll-on/roll-off) or in containers. The port of loading, route and estimated timeline are confirmed in your quote; transit time depends on the route and vessel schedules, so we do not publish fixed lead times.

A typical export set includes the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading, plus documents such as a certificate of origin or vehicle export papers where required. The exact list depends on your destination’s customs rules — share it with us at quote stage and we confirm what we can provide.

Yes. Vehicles are checked before loading and we can send photos or video. If you prefer an independent inspection company, we can arrange access; the cost is agreed in advance.

No. Import customs clearance, duties, taxes and local registration are handled by the buyer or the buyer’s customs broker at destination. We provide the export and shipping documents they need.
